What’s On at Biggar Puppet Theatre

Pips and Panda in Circusland

Another adventure from the famous pair. This time Panda finds an unusual basket. Who does it belong to? Where did it come from? We’ll have to wait and see!

They visit the circus, where they meet two funny geese called Jiffy and Jaffy, and Sugar the dancing horse. There are many songs for you to join in and lots of fun too!

The Magical Princess

This is a play adapted from an old Ukrainian Folktale. It tells the story of a simple man, called Andreas, who saves the life of a beautiful princess. In return she marries him and weaves a magic tapestry. Andreas decides to sell it to the mighty Tzar, who agrees to buy, but only if he also brings him the treasure rare, “I-don’t-know-what from I-don’t-know-where”. So begins a long and amazing journey across the world full of wonderful sights and magical effects.

The #1 Best-Rated in TripAdvisor for Theatre & Concerts in South Lanarkshire

Outstanding

The morning show is specifically aimed at young children, with nurseries traveling for miles to let their kids see the puppets. It kept our 2 year old and 5 month old entertained the entire time.
