A family show for all ages, “The Tinderbox” tells how Corporal Fitzpatrick meets the three dogs – Copper Dog (with eyes as big as teacups) – Silver Dog (with eyes as big as millwheels) – and Gold Dog (with eyes as big as the round tower of Copenhagen!)
The music, specially written and adapted for this production, is another big feature, and there is fun, magic and mystery to please everyone.
All this performed by our GIANT puppets that glow in the dark!!

The morning show is specifically aimed at young children, with nurseries traveling for miles to let their kids see the puppets. It kept our 2 year old and 5 month old entertained the entire time.
First saw Purves Puppets at the Edinburgh festival when my sons were young, now taking the grandchildren. Wonderful children’s theatre. Excellent entertainment, and lovely staff
